A QR code is a type of barcode whose content can be decoded quickly by a smartphone. The artist draws on the ground a landscape-level active QR code. The idea is to combine real and virtual environments: nature and Internet, land art and digital art, in a relationship of cohabitation rather than confrontation. The drawing can be scanned and it sends back to a website: http://s-qrc.org
“The idea is to play with time, that of nature that changes, that grows and the time of the internet and of technologies. I work in nature like a street artist and I leave a graphic design, identifiable by all, symbol of a current pop culture, as a signature.”
